Shakespeare, the protagonist, is a playwright who has lost his inspiration and needs a muse that inspires him to write again. Lady Viola, a nobleman’s daughter, meets Shakespeare, with whom she shares the love for theatre, poetry and art. They fall in love, Viola becomes his muse and starts acting secretly in Shakespeare’s new play as a man, but she has continuous obligations because of her social status and she is first to marry a rich man against her will.
This is a very interesting and meaningful film because it explains the life story of a very important writer of English literature and makes us learn a lot about love and about how people lived in that age. It’s very beautiful and has a good plot, but it has a sad ending. We recommend it to people of all ages.
